Do you think the Palak paneer is that much tougher to make? No. It’s very simple. Just use the basic available items from your kitchen and make it. Even if you don’t have paneer in your home, be cool. You can make your paneer yourself.
Boil milk in a pan and add 3 to 4 tsp of lemon juice or vinegar. After a few minutes, the milk will get curdled. Once the water is fully separated, just filter the solid parts completely without water. Now your paneer is ready.
Spinach/Palak – 1 bunch
Paneer/ Tofu – 1 cup
Green chilli – 4
Onion -1
Tomato – 1
Cumin seeds – 1tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 1 leaflet
Coriander powder or coriander seeds – 1tsp
Oil for seasoning
Salt for taste
Just wash the spinach thoroughly and put it in a pan, and heat it. Don’t add water in it.
Now slowly the spinach will cook, and the quantity will reduce as the snapshot.
Add green chilli with cooked spinach and blend it. Keep aside.
Cut the paneer into cubes.
Heat 3tsp oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and pepper seeds. Please be careful, the pepper will splutter. Add curry leaves and fry them.
Then add onion. Fry it until the onion gets translucent. Add coriander powder and fry it.
If you are using the coriander powder, add it now. If you use seeds, just fry the seeds in a pan without oil and blend them along with spinach.
Now add the tomato and cook it until it gets mushy.
Now add the blended spinach to it and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Finally, add the cut paneer cubes and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes. Generally, paneer will cook quickly.
Now the tasty Palak paneer is ready to serve.
