Many of us do not prefer to eat bitter gourd because of its bitter taste. Try the steps below. You never experience a bitter taste, and you will get almost all the nutrients.
Bitter gourd – 3
Onion – 1
Green chilli – 3
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt for taste
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Chana Dal – 1 spoon
Urad dal – 2tsp
Chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1tsp
Curry leaves – 1 leaflet
Vegetable oil for frying – 3 to 4 tsp
Cut the bitter gourd as per the snap. We can include seeds as well. It would be tasty. If you don’t like it, remove it.
Add turmeric powder and salt to cut bitter gourd and keep for 20 minutes.
Add vegetable oil to a pan and heat it. Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, and heat them on medium flame. Once the oil starts spluttering, add curry leaves.
Then add green chili and fry it. Once the chili flavor starts, add chopped onion and fry it.
Once the onion becomes translucent, add the bitter gourd mix and stir it.
After a minute, add coriander powder and chili powder and stir it.
Do not add water.
Keep frying it in the added oil until the color turns brown.
Now the wonderful and bitter less bitter gourd is ready to serve. It would be best combined with any food.
